Our Location

We’re lucky enough to be situated in the beautiful town of Falmouth. Named by The Sunday Times as the best place to live in the UK and rated as Britain’s Best Coastal Community in the Great British High Street Awards. With no less than 20 beaches in Falmouth and the surrounding area, three of which are just a short walk from our front door. Falmouth has the third largest deep water harbour, a rich sailing and maritime heritage, the historic castle and one of the leading creative universities in the UK, it’s clear to see that Falmouth may be petite but it’s pretty impressive.

Within walking distance from our doorstep guests can reach the National Maritime Museum, Castle Beach, Gyllyngvase Beach, Swanpool Beach, the Princess Pavilion to enjoy a show or a gig, The Poly Art Gallery, Pendennis Castle, Gyllyngdune Gardens, the South West Coastal Path and an abundance of boutiques, galleries, restaurants and bars, all without even having to get in a car. Explore further afield with a visit on the ferry to picturesque St Mawes or the shopping capital of Truro and enjoy day trips to Newquay, St Ives, Penzance or Padstow, before returning to the comfort of Chelsea House.

Situated one street back from the seafront, we’ve got a prime position, with the peace of a secluded location and the panoramic sea views that we are known for. Slip out at early doors and be on the sand in just five minutes, just in time for the sunrise (and an early morning dip for the brave!) we’ll be ready with a cracking fry-up on your return, or enjoy evening strolls on the seafront witnessing the castle illuminated as day turns to dusk before a nightcap in front of the log burner in our garden retreat. If you’re looking to visit Falmouth, we’ve got a front row seat.
