This week I’ve taken a little poetic licence as the build goes on. There have been some beautiful days and really, we could not resist a little trip out and we had a surprise visit from some guests that previously stayed with us.
Well, what a week, what a transformation and just look at that blue sky! Don’t you just love Falmouth it’s the middle of October! The build team are doing a ‘stellar’ job and crackin’ on.
The door to what was Rod Stewart on the first floor is well and truly gone. When we bought Chelsea House, the Breakfast Room really needed a transformation. We created a wonderful bright space by adding new art and installing bright red diners.
We had a fantastic last breakfast morning with guests and friends; after the goodbyes, welcome the builders, electricians, scaffolders, and plumbers! Here is a little video of how things looked at the end of week 1.
