What information we collect about you
When you make a booking with Chelsea House we collect your name, email address and telephone number. We also collect payment card details to secure your booking. Your card is pre-authorised in accordance with the terms and conditions and cancellation policy.

How we use the information we hold on you
We will use your email address to send confirmation of your booking and pre-authorisation of payment card.

After your stay we will email you receipt of invoice and ask you to share your Chelsea House experience with potential future guests by providing a review via our website or other well known review sites, such as Trip Advisor.

We will use your telephone number only if we need to check something about your booking, or in an emergency where we have not been able to contact you via email.

How is your data stored
All personal data and payment card data you supply as part of the booking process is stored securely on a third party booking system, Eviivo.

Neither ourselves or Eviivo will share your information with any third party unless there is a legal reason for doing so.

Marketing
We would like to keep in touch with you to send information about Chelsea House, any special offers we have or local events going on. Occasional emails/newlsetters will be sent  (no more than 3 per year) to those people on our distribution list.  Our distribution list is managed by a secure third party, Mail Chimp.

Neither Chelsea House, or Mailchimp will pass your details onto any third party.

Guest Registration
We are required by law to collect the following information on all our guests. We do this by asking you to complete a registration form during your stay at Chelsea House.

For Commonwealth guests we require to collect, Name and Nationality.

For non-Commonwealth guests we require to collect, Name, Nationality, Passport Number or National Identity Number, Next Destination

These details are uploaded onto our third party secure booking system and the paper record is shredded immediately.

These details are required for access by the Police, should they ask to see them.

Access to your information

Cookies
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour.  This information is used to track visitor use of our website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.
